Through partnerships, we’ll speed up innovation while avoiding unnecessary technological and intellectual costs. If we can jointly fast-track new products and services to market, we’ll accelerate the widespread adoption of autonomous driving.
An example of our drive to accelerate AD development is the Zenseact Open Dataset (ZOD), a large multi-modal autonomous driving dataset, created by researchers at Zenseact. ZOD is open to both researchers and the automotive industry, allowing for both commercial and non-commercial use. It also enables smaller companies to use the dataset for research, benchmarking, and development.
Moreover, Zenseact is a thriving environment for research and technology development. We’re constantly on the lookout for senior researchers while also offering student, graduate, master thesis, and various other research opportunities.
We have research collaborations with Chalmers University of Technology, Lund University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Cambridge University, CERN, Technical University Munich, MIT, Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
As a safety technology partner, we’re instrumental in helping Volvo Cars deliver world-class safety technology. Done right, Zenseact and Volvo can leverage a hard-to-match combination of safety legacy, premium cars, and cutting-edge technology. Together, we’ll be able to offer Volvo’s most forward-leaning safety promise yet: reliably safe, unsupervised automation.
Our partnership with Luminar resulted in the first full-stack autonomous solution for series production in the industry called Sentinel. Luminar’s Sentinel deeply integrates Zenseact’s autonomous driving software solution.
Our partnership with Nvidia gives us accelerated speed in the development of the next generation active safety systems and unsupervised driving. In the near future, Nvidia’s state of the art hardware will power the Zenseact software stack when we deploy it to the world together with our lead customer.
Our partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) aims to provide the crucial artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure required for the development of next generation autonomous driving systems.

Zenseact China
China is the world’s largest vehicle market by annual sales and manufacturing output. Consequently, the country is also facing challenging road traffic safety issues.
To reach a new level of road safety, advanced safety technology in cars is critical. Zenseact has built the AD/ADS software systems and the infrastructures behind them – such as cloud and data factory – based on a study of China-specific road scenarios, traffic laws, legislations, and driver behaviors.
